Welcome to Midlands Behavior Therapy. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of this website, digital resources, forms, educational materials, and other online services provided by Midlands Behavior Therapy (“Midlands Behavior Therapy,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use of the website.
Website Purpose
This website provides information about Midlands Behavior Therapy, including professional therapy services, coaching services, educational content, digital tools, and other resources. Please note that this website serves as a directional and educational portal; all formal clinical therapy registration and scheduling are hosted externally by Headway, and all digital coaching registration, programs, and client portal operations are hosted externally by GoHighLevel (GHL). Information provided directly through this website is intended for general informational and educational purposes unless you have separately entered into a formal professional relationship with Midlands Behavior Therapy on our designated operational platforms.
No Therapist-Client Relationship
Visiting this website, submitting a contact form, sending an email or text message, scheduling a consultation, or using a digital resource does not establish a therapist-client relationship. A therapist-client relationship is established only after appropriate eligibility requirements have been met and applicable intake documents, informed consent agreements, and other required documentation have been completed and accepted.
All professional psychotherapy and clinical clinical mental health services are managed, credentialed, and billed through Headway. A clinical therapist-client relationship is only formalized once you are successfully onboarded into the Headway platform and have completed their mandatory intake and insurance/billing verification protocols. Therapy services are subject to professional licensing requirements, applicable laws, ethical standards, and strict geographic limitations.
Coaching Services
Coaching services offered by Midlands Behavior Therapy are separate from psychotherapy and other licensed mental health services. Coaching is intended to provide education, support, practical strategies, accountability, and guidance related to personal growth and development. Coaching is not psychotherapy, medical treatment, crisis intervention, or a substitute for professional mental health care. Participation in coaching does not establish a therapist-client relationship.
All coaching programs, community areas, and coaching client management tools are hosted and processed through our GoHighLevel (GHL) platform environment. Specific coaching programs or services are governed by separate, mandatory Coaching Agreements, platform policies, explicit non-clinical liability waivers, and distinct cancellation terms executed inside the coaching portal.
Christ-Centered Approach
Midlands Behavior Therapy provides services and resources from a Christ-centered worldview. Our work may incorporate biblical principles, Christian beliefs, faith-based perspectives, and discussions related to spiritual growth as part of our therapy, coaching, educational resources, and other services, consistent with applicable professional and ethical requirements. By choosing to use our services or resources, you acknowledge that the Christian faith is a foundational part of the mission and approach of Midlands Behavior Therapy.
Educational and Digital Resources
Midlands Behavior Therapy may provide articles, videos, assessments, worksheets, interactive tools, courses, downloads, and other educational resources. These materials are provided for informational and educational purposes and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any mental health or medical condition. Use of educational materials or digital tools, including the 3-Minute PTSD Reset, does not establish a therapist-client or coach-client relationship. Results from digital tools, assessments, exercises, or educational resources should not be interpreted as a professional diagnosis, clinical evaluation, or individualized treatment recommendation.
Not Crisis or Emergency Services
Midlands Behavior Therapy does not provide crisis or emergency services through this website, email, text messaging, contact forms, digital resources, or coaching programs. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, believe you may harm yourself or another person, or require immediate assistance, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. In the United States, you may also call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Do not use this website, email, SMS messaging, or online forms to seek emergency assistance.
Professional and Medical Disclaimer
Information provided through this website and its resources is not intended as individualized medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, or other professional advice. You should consult an appropriately qualified professional regarding questions or concerns specific to your circumstances. Do not disregard professional medical or mental health advice or delay seeking appropriate care because of information obtained through this website or its resources.
No Guarantee of Results
Individual experiences and outcomes vary. Midlands Behavior Therapy does not guarantee specific results from therapy, coaching, courses, digital tools, educational resources, or other services. Progress depends on many factors, including individual circumstances, participation, effort, readiness for change, and factors outside the control of Midlands Behavior Therapy. Testimonials, examples, case illustrations, or descriptions of potential outcomes do not guarantee that you will experience the same or similar results.

Purchases and Payments
Certain services, programs, products, or digital resources may require payment. Prices, payment schedules, refund policies, cancellation requirements, and other purchase terms will be disclosed at the time of purchase or in a separate service agreement. You agree to provide accurate and current payment and billing information.
Payments for clinical therapy services are processed and managed exclusively through Headway and are subject to Headway’s merchant terms. Payments for coaching services, digital products, and courses are processed through Stripe integrations built directly into our GoHighLevel (GHL) digital infrastructure. You acknowledge that your transactions are subject to the individual processing policies, security terms, and data handling practices of these external merchant providers.
Refunds and Cancellations
Refund, cancellation, rescheduling, and termination policies may vary depending on the service, program, product, or resource purchased. Applicable policies will be provided through service agreements, informed consent documents, checkout pages, program agreements, or other written terms. In the event of a conflict between these general Terms and a signed service agreement, coaching agreement, informed consent document, or purchase agreement, the terms of the more specific agreement will govern.
Email and SMS Communications
By providing your contact information and consenting to receive communications, you may receive email or SMS messages related to inquiries, appointments, services, purchased products, requested resources, educational information, or marketing communications. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive marketing communications is not a condition of purchasing services. You may opt out of marketing emails through the unsubscribe link provided in the message and may opt out of marketing SMS messages by following the instructions included in the communication.

This website utilizes and links directly to third-party platforms including, but not limited to, Headway (for medical credentialing, billing, and clinical scheduling) and GoHighLevel (for coaching infrastructure, student areas, and marketing automation). Midlands Behavior Therapy does not control and is not responsible for the independent operations, platform down-times, security frameworks, or privacy practices of Headway or GoHighLevel. Your activity on those systems is governed directly by their individual corporate terms of service and consumer privacy policies.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit liability in a manner prohibited by applicable law or to waive professional responsibilities that cannot legally or ethically be waived.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Midlands Behavior Therapy and its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the website, violation of these Terms, or infringement of the rights of another person or entity.
